Aruba Instant On 802.3af POE Midspan R8W31A
– Delivers Class 3 PoE power over Ethernet cabling. Complies with IEEE 802.3af Power over Ethernet standard supplying up to 15.4W out of the injector.
– Ethernet cable goes from non PoE switch into the Injector. A separate Ethernet cable goes with PoE from Injector to broader network. Typically Injector is placed next to the switch. Power is delivered to the Injector from a cord (ordered separately) plugged into a local outlet.
– Compatible with Aruba Instant On Access Points AP11, AP11D, AP12, AP15, AP17 and AP22 models.
– Supports Gigabit speed connections between switch and Injector, transmitting data at same Gigabit speed to the remote device.
– Power cord must be ordered separately.
